Your money hard at work…
$2000 for Inspire Speakers, $5000 for Teacher Grants, $4,900 for Club Advisory Stipends, $6000 for Principal’s Focus Area are some examples of your PTO dollars hard at work this year.
Many thanks for your support!
Recently another notable Woodward family member retired their position. Kylee Stanton Hicks recently left her position after serving as President of the WMS PTO for the last 18 months. Both she and her 8th grade daughter are taking on a new home schooling adventure. While at Woodward, she organized and led a very strong team. With Kylee at the lead, the PTO has helped raise funds, supported students and staff, and logged in many enjoyable volunteer hours. We are grateful to Kylee for her time, energy, and dedication to Woodward. Leaving us well prepared, she will be missed. Vice President Marcela Sandoval will be taking on the role of PTO President for the remainder of the year.
Kylee’s departure has us thinking of next year and the many board members leaving Woodward with their soon to be freshman. We will have six vacancies on the PTO board next year; including, President, Vice President, Treasurer, Volunteer Coordinator, Grants Coordinator and Fundraising Chair. If you are interested in supporting Woodward and it’s students, please email [email protected].
